on the "Turtle Lady"Hi Everyone!
Summertime--the heat is here!
Mine will again be spent balancing the current 'western' influences in my life and the islands, which I love.
I hope people will appreciate them as much as my island
and underwater work. I think of it as just another example of how life in
general, and mine in particular, is one full of wonderful opportunities and
diverseness--and I love to recreate what I see around me. In a way sea
turtles and cowboys are similar, in that they are beautiful in their
simplicity, the way they are such a natural part of their environment, and
most especially, the emotions they evoke in those who view them. It makes me
want to pick up a paintbrush and just make the images I see into something I
can share with everyone else...
Hope you enjoy my work, both older pieces and the newer
ones. Please know I am diligently working on more pieces that I hope to post
